Wasim Akram (Urdu: وسیم اکرم‎; conceived 3 June 1966) is a previous Pakistani cricketer. He was a bona fide left arm quick bowler who could bowl with noteworthy pace and left-gave batsman who spoke to the Pakistan national cricket group in Test cricket and One Day International (Odi) matches.in October 2013,wasim Akram was the main Pakistani cricketer to be named in an unsurpassed Test World Xi to check the 150th commemoration of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. 

He was the first bowler to achieve the 500-wicket check in Odi cricket throughout the 2003 World Cup. In 2002 Wisden discharged its main rundown of best players ever. Wasim was stacked up as the best bowler in Odi ever with a rating of 1223.5, in front of Allan Donald, Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Joel Garner, Glen Mcgrath and Muralitharan. Wasim has taken 23 4-wicket pulls in Odi in 356 matches he played. On 30 September 2009, Akram was one of five new parts drafted into the Icc Cricket Hall of Fame. He is the bowling mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders. however enjoyed a reprieve from the position for Ipl 6 refering to a need to invest more of an opportunity with gang. 

Akram made his Test cricket make a big appearance for Pakistan against New Zealand in 1985 and in his second Test match, he guaranteed 10 wickets. A couple of weeks preceding his determination into the Pakistan group, he was an obscure club cricketer who had neglected to make it even to his school group. He went to the trials at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in Pakistan, yet for the first two days he didn't get an opportunity to bowl. On the third day he got a chance; his execution persuading Javed Miandad to demand his incorporation in the national team. Akram was consequently given a chance to play for Pakistan, without any critical dow.
