He realized this against the touring South Africans soon after their Test arrangement against England; the innings incorporated three sixes off spinner Paul Harris. He underlined his developing development in the wake of heading Middlesex to triumph in the County Championship against Kent. After general chief Shaun Udal was harmed on the morning of the match, Morgan was named skipper, at a wonderful period of only 22, having been picked over senior players Owais Shah, Chris Silverwood, Murali Kartik and Tyron Henderson. It was Middlesex's first four-day triumph of the season. Udal came back to commander the side for the following match against Essex.
He was a paramount part of England's Twenty20 group that won the 2010 Icc World Twenty20 competition in the West Indies. He top-scored in England's gathering recreations against the West Indies and his local Ireland, and in addition the Super Eights diversion against New Zealand. Due to successful group rocking the bowling alley and half-hundreds of years from Kevin Pietersen and Craig Kieswetter, he was barely required in the semi-last against Sri Lanka and last against Australia, fulfilling not-out in both matches.
